We are officially halfway through Edinburgh Cocktail Week and here at McGonagall’s Gin and Whisky Emporium, our Raspberry and Elderflower Fizz’s are flying out strong!
This occasion called for a unique and refreshing spirit, so we partnered up with Isle of Raasay Gin and it is the perfect fit. The flavour profile brings hints of Raasay juniper, orange peels and lemon peels to this delicious bevvy. We loved this combination so much, we further added Orange Bitters and fresh lemon juice to really embrace the awakening taste of this quality gin!
Contrastingly, to balance all this citrus, we pair this with St-Germain Elderflower Liquer, which adds a light sweetness. Further from this, we add in our own homemade raspberry syrup to complete this flavour profile, drawing the link between sweet and sour.
